What is Geometry Dash Kappaclysm?

Geometry Dash Kappaclysm is a More Challenging 6★ level created by Glittershroom and Evasium, known for being pointy and having a rhythm game sensation. With 13,083 objects, it was launched as part of the Blade Pack and is the fourth level in the Chaos Gauntlet, placed between Drippy Dub and dark drop.

What sets Geometry Dash Kappaclysm apart is that it is the sole level included in both the Map Packs and the Gauntlets, which sets it apart as a special entry in the game's history. Taking its inspiration from the legendary Cataclysm, the level combines nostalgia with a new challenge for players who enjoy rhythm-based platforming.

Gameplay

Kappaclysm begins with a steady half-speed cube part, soothing players into rhythm before shifting abruptly to an upbeat ball part. Just before the drop of the track, a dissonant wave part becomes apparent, visually replicating the aesthetic of Cataclysm.

The pace increases with a ship section, a mini-portal, and then a wave corridor that is restricted. Players are then treated to a fairly demanding UFO section, where speed and accuracy are balanced. A double-speed cube section is thrown into the mix before a sudden slowdown that demands players sync up their timing.

Later, the level introduces another ship sequence and calm remake of Cataclysm's mini-cube, followed by additional ball and UFO components. The climax features a remake of Cataclysm's final wave, half-done before it finally ends almost identical to its original. During the last level, the creators' names—Evasium and Glittershroom—are displayed on screen, before the traditional "GG" marks the victory.
