Geometry Dash Cataclysm

Geometry Dash Cataclysm rated 10 stars and containing 3 user coins, is an Extreme Demon Level designed by GGB0Y and released on January 3, 2015. Riot later updated and verified the level, making it one of the most challenging levels in Geometry Dash, along with ICE Carbon Diablo X. Cataclysm is the first part of the Extreme Demons trilogy, followed by Bloodbath and Aftermath.

The level features three user coins, each requiring different skills to obtain:

  1. First Coin (3%): This coin requires precise timing. The player must hit a blue orb late, sending them into a sawblade. Instead of dying, the player is transported to the coin and then teleported back on course. The timing is crucial but not overly complicated.

  2. Second Coin (70%): This is the simplest coin to collect. In the first segment of the twin ship, the player needs to fly between spiky areas. By taking this route, they escape a narrow space and continue the level. This path is easier than the standard route.

  3. Third Coin (85%): The player must reach the final blue orb and pass through a gravity portal. Inside the portal, they need to hit an invisible yellow ball that transports them to the last coin. Alternatively, hitting the blue orb late allows the robot to brush past the coin.

Tips for Playing Geometry Dash Cataclysm

  1. Practice Mode: Utilize practice mode extensively to familiarize yourself with the level's layout and timing. This is especially important for mastering the precise timings required for the user coins.

  2. Memory and Straight Fly: Focus on improving your memory and straight fly skills, particularly for the second coin, which is straightforward with good memory and straight flying ability.

  3. Timing: Pay close attention to your timing when hitting orbs, especially for the first and third coins. Precise timing can make the difference between success and failure.

  4. Watching Videos: Watch videos of successful runs by other players to understand the strategies and routes they use. This can provide insights into difficult parts of the level.

  5. Stay Calm: Maintain your composure, especially during the final parts of the level. Panic can lead to mistakes, so staying calm is crucial for success.
